Located in the vibrant Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, Thespian Academy has been nurturing acting talent for over 15 years. Founded by renowned stage actress Eleanor Vance, our academy is dedicated to providing a supportive and challenging environment where students can thrive. We believe that acting is not just a skill, but an art form that can enrich lives and inspire communities.
Our philosophy centers on a holistic approach to acting training. We focus not only on technique, but also on developing the actor's emotional intelligence, physical awareness, and creative expression. We believe that every actor has a unique voice, and we strive to help our students find and amplify that voice. The Academy boasts multiple studio spaces, costume and prop rooms, and a small blackbox theater for student showcases.
